Our Early Adopters

We are proud to introduce the Open-OH Early Adopters Group, a dedicated community of individuals living with Long COVID, ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, and other long-term conditions. These individuals play a vital role in shaping the Open-OH app by sharing their insights and feedback, helping us to create a solution that meets the diverse needs of people living with long-term health challenges.

Before we even had the support to start designing Open-OH we knew we wanted to focus on find and listen to the voices of people with lived experience, and centre the strategy around their needs. We knew that only through co-design and co-creation we would be able to make an app that was accessible and meet the needs of people with different long-term conditions.

Participation is flexible and adapted to each person’s capabilities, recognizing that symptoms may fluctuate. Whether through quick polls, email feedback, or more in-depth 1-2-1 meetings and group workshops, there are multiple ways for members to contribute based on what works best for them at any given time.

By working directly with those who have lived experience, we can ensure that future developments of Open-OH are informed by real-world challenges, offering real-world solutions that help people in their day-to-day life at home and at work.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to the development of Open-OH. Your strength and resilience, even in times of personal struggle, have been truly inspiring. By sharing your insights and feedback, you’ve helped shape something that will support not just yourselves, but the wider community of individuals living with long-term conditions.

Until next time,

The Open-OH Team
